Veterans, military families and the underserved, nationwide

Our story

V.E.T. was born from the heart of a Navy veteran who understood firsthand the challenges of moving from military service to civilian life. Founded on October 16, 2023, in Texas as Veteran Hub, it was built on one promise: no veteran should ever navigate the road home alone.

What began as a place of refuge and connection for veterans and the underserved has grown into something greater. As the vision expanded and the needs of our veteran community became clearer, we rebranded as V.E.T. — Veterans Engagement & Training. The new name is a declaration of purpose: to go beyond providing a hub and to actively engage, train and empower every veteran who walks through our doors.

Our founder answered the call of duty and now answers the call of community. From the sea to the streets of Texas, V.E.T. is here — trained to serve and built to succeed.

Mission

To honor the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans by providing comprehensive support, resources and training that empower them in the move from military service to civilian life.

We engage veterans, their families and the underserved through education, workforce development, mental health advocacy and community outreach programs that restore dignity, build resilience and create lasting opportunities.

At V.E.T., no veteran is left behind — because those who served our nation deserve a nation that serves them back.

Vision

A nation where every veteran, military family and underserved individual is met with unwavering support, boundless opportunity and the deep respect they have earned.

Rooted in Texas, we envision a future where no veteran faces homelessness, unemployment or isolation, and where the skills forged in service become the foundation for extraordinary civilian success.

V.E.T. strives to be the premier national network of veteran empowerment, transforming lives, strengthening communities and ensuring every hero who answered the call finds a pathway to purpose, prosperity and peace.

Understanding and applying for your VA home loan benefits

Members of our team have used the VA Home Loan Program to buy their own first homes and can speak from experience. Since 1944, the program has opened the door to homeownership for eligible service members and surviving military spouses, as part of the original Servicemen’s Readjustment Act, better known as the GI Bill of Rights. It was designed with military families in mind, and many eligible buyers can qualify without a large down payment.
